The lavender plant, naturally occurring in the Mediterranean, Canary Islands, North Africa, India, and Southeast Asia, is preferred for its fragrance and resilience. This plant, which dislikes cold weather, is not very selective about soil. Between May and August, it blooms in blue, purple, lilac, and white flowers, emitting a pleasant scent. Additionally, it is used in oil production. It is commonly used in groups as a hedge and is also preferred in pots on windowsills.
