




It is a slow-growing species distinguished by its glossy oval leaves. It can reach approximately 2 meters in length in 10 years, with a maximum length and width of 3 meters. The Japanese Laurel, known for its resilience, is tolerant of shade and drought. It can also be cultivated in environments with air pollution and excessive salinity. However, it is not suitable for planting in excessively sunny areas. Planting should preferably be done in shaded areas, and excessive watering should be avoided. They bloom with purple flowers in April-May and are commonly preferred in landscaping applications.
