Dwarf Star Cistus, a dwarf species with a height of approximately 1 meter and a diameter that can extend to 1.5-2 meters, is a compact shrub with branches growing outward. Its leaves are green and have a tough texture. Typically found along the Mediterranean coast, the plant is not resistant to cold weather and needs protection from severe frosts. It prefers sunlight but can also grow in semi-shaded environments. Blooming from April to June, the plant’s flowers are white. While not highly selective about soil, it grows faster in moist and well-draining soil. It is commonly preferred in landscaping applications, either in groups or as a hedge.
