Laurus Nobilis

It is a shrub or tree species that naturally grows in the Mediterranean. Generally, its height varies between 2 – 6 meters, but it can reach up to 10 meters. Mediterranean Laurel, naturally found in rocky and mountainous areas, prefers rich and moist soil. It can be susceptible to extreme cold and wind. The plant maintains its evergreen foliage throughout the four seasons and blossoms with fragrant yellow flowers. Besides being preferred for its visual appeal, it is also used in medicinal fields. Laurel, favored in road and hedge landscaping, is also suitable for Topiary.
